Never Better
Sept. 7 – Oct. 13, 2024
Developmental Production
Book, Music, Lyrics by Preston Max Allen
Directed by Landree Fleming
Davy, a jaded college sophomore, has been struggling to keep up with her work and social life as she faces an illness she’s written off as a cold. As her symptoms escalate, her TikTok influencer roommate April and budding “situationship” Carter encourage her to get help. But Davy’s hopes for an easy recovery fade when her doctor urgently requests she seek follow-up testing. Unable to face a potentially devastating diagnosis, Davy ignores her doctor’s recommendations and soon starts spiraling in this intimate, folk-punk musical about the value of survival in a world weighed down by grief, loneliness, and fears of an uncertain future.
This is a special add-on production to the 2024-2025 season!

This enchanting classic of children’s literature is reimagined in brilliant musical style by composer Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright of ‘night, Mother. Orphaned in India, 11-year-old Mary Lennox returns to Yorkshire to live with her embittered, reclusive uncle Archibald and his son Colin. Tell Me on a Sunday follows a free-spirited young British woman who has recently landed in New York. Brimming with optimism, she sets out to seek success, companionship and, of course, love. Told through some of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most-treasured songs, including “Take That Look Off Your Face,” “Nothing Like You’ve Ever Known,” and the title song, this intimate one-woman one-act musical journeys coast-to-coast as we watch her wonder whether she’s been looking for love in all the wrong places.
TELL ME ON A SUNDAY is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of The Really Useful Group.

It’s 1981 and the world is hungry for a royal wedding — but is the 20-year-old bride prepared for what comes after? Following her fairytale union, Princess Diana faces a distant husband, an unmovable monarchy and overwhelming media scrutiny. But her modern perspective and remarkable compassion galvanizes a nation, even as it threatens the royal family’s hold on England. Diana is an electrifying musical about a woman who chose to be fearless, and as a result became timeless.
DIANA is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing Global.
